Nowadays, there are less and less places on Earth that have not felt the negative consequences of the development of industry — environmental pollution. One of the few remaining ecologically clean regions in Ukraine is Kosiv District. It is here, in the Hutsul village of Pistyn, where the mineral water plant Tyrlych LTD is located.
The source of mineral water in the village of Pistyn has been known for a long time. Even more than a century ago, it was known that crystal water from the source of the Shturbak tract posses healing value for both external and internal use and is not inferior in healing properties to the well-known sources of the Soden, Baden-Baden and Aachen resorts. Thanks to the healing properties of water, the village of Pistyn was famous in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and beyond. Notable people from Vienna, Krakow, Lviv received treatment in the sanatorium complex. Mostly people were treated for the diseases of obesity, water also helped patients with rheumatism, gout, and helped to recover from the diseases of peripheral nervous system and many others.
In 1998, with the aim of bringing medicinal water to people, Tyrlych LTD began the production of mineral water in PET bottles. Subsequently, a «Pistynska Dzherelna» mineral water plant was established in the village of Pistyn.
In 2008, the company installed an automatic filling line with a capacity of 6000 bottles per hour. Two kilometers long underground water pipe was also laid over from the source to the plant.
It is confident to say that today the mineral water plant Tyrlych LTD is a fusion of modern technology and strong traditions.
After all, the main task of Tyrlych LTD is to preserve the unique gift of nature which is «Pistynska Dzherelna» spring water and bring it to people for health promotion.

Water quality is confirmed by conclusions based on the annual research conducted by the Ukrainian Scientific-Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology (Odessa).
Constant samples taking and examination of already PET bottled water by specialists of Kosiv District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station allow us to conclude that water from the Pistyn spring bottled by Tyrlych LTD is of high quality and meets the established standards.
Specialists of the Ivano-Frankivsk Research and Production Center of Standardization, Metrology and Certification examinated Pistynska Dzherelna water for the presence of GMOs. According to the results of the tests GMO was not detected.
The annual mandatory certification that Pistynska Dzherelna water undergoes in the bodies of state standardization and certification is a proof that Pistynska Dzherelna water produced by Tyrlych LTD is of high quality.
